Toketa Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") provides Debatia (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"), a platform for users who love debates to engage in discussions online. The Service offers a place to generate new insights through the exchange of knowledge and opinions among users.

When using the Service, please read these terms carefully and contact us if you have any questions.

Article 1: Definitions

The meanings of terms in these terms are as follows:

"User" refers to all individuals who use the Service. "Debater" refers to a user who engages in debates on the Service. "AI Judge" refers to the AI system that determines the outcome of debates on the Service. "Debate Topic" refers to the theme debated on the Service. "Debate Room" refers to the online space where users engage in debates.

Article 2: Scope of Application

These terms apply to all users of the Service. The Company may establish individual terms for using the Service as necessary. Article 3: Eligibility, etc.

The Service can be used by individuals who:

Have legal capacity for responsibility. Agree and comply with these terms. Can prepare an internet connection environment at their own responsibility. Minors can use the Service with the consent of their legal guardian.

Users are responsible for all actions and results arising from using the Service.

Article 4: Agreement to the Terms

To use the Service, users must agree to these terms. By using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

Article 5: Registration as a Debater

Users who wish to use the Service as a Debater must register as such. Registration can be done through a form on the Service. The Company may refuse registration in the following cases: If there is a possibility that the user does not exist. If inaccurate information is provided. If the user is deemed to be associated with anti-social forces. In other cases deemed inappropriate by the Company.

Article 6: Account Management

Users are responsible for securely managing their account information. Users bear the losses caused by leakage or unauthorized use of account information.

Article 7: Deletion of Registration

If users wish to delete their registration, they must do so using the prescribed method within the Service. After registration deletion, user-related information will generally not be disclosed.

Article 8: Mechanism of the Service

Debaters select a Debate Topic and position, and engage in debate. Debates consist of phases of argument and rebuttal. After the debate concludes, the AI Judge determines the winner, and the results are published.

Article 9: Paid Features

The Service is generally provided free of charge, but there may be paid features. When using paid features, users agree to pay the specified amount.

Article 10: Content and Posts

Users may freely express their opinions during debates but must not post content that infringes on the rights of others. The Company reserves the right to delete content deemed inappropriate without notice.

Article 11: User Responsibility

Users are responsible for their own statements and actions. The Company does not intervene in disputes between users and assumes no responsibility.

Article 12: Service Changes and Interruptions

The Company may change or interrupt the Service without notice for improvement or maintenance. In the event of a long-term interruption, users will be notified in advance.

Article 13: Prohibited Acts

Users must not engage in the following acts:

Defamation or harassment. Illegal activities or criminal behavior. Acts that infringe on the rights of others, such as copyright, trademark rights, or privacy rights. Distribution of viruses, malware, or other harmful programs.

Article 14: Privacy and Data Handling

The Company respects user privacy and handles personal information appropriately. User personal information will not be disclosed to third parties, except as required by law.

Article 15: Disclaimer

The Company makes no explicit or implied warranties regarding the content or functionality of the Service. The Company is not liable for any damage caused by the use of the Service.

Article 16: Amendments to the Terms

The Company reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Amended terms become effective after they are notified on the Service.

Article 17: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be interpreted in accordance with Japanese law. Any disputes related to the Service shall be under the jurisdiction of the Japanese courts.
